Esoterics
Never would I have dreamed about defending the word ‘esoteric’. But my patience . . . vanishes at a point when something is misused – simply by ignorance or bad intention – over and over.
Dictionary tells us that esoteric teachings happen in secret inner circles of whatever kind of group, usually spiritual or religious as opposed to the meaning of exoteric which lays everything open to the public. Hmm. I guess we are running into a few dilemmas here. Can you see them coming?
If not just tell me about your knowledge of how any multinational or global company is run, by whom and what the inner dynamics are. Do you really KNOW anything about it? Or do you just believe what the official press declaration is trying to tell you? Do you really believe that anyone can enter those circles of top level executives and strategists of a global company? Or would that more constitute the fact of an initiation after which someone may be allowed into that powerful circle and bestowed with knowledge and information that nobody outside that circle has?
Do you really believe you know anything that is happening ain the inner circle around the Pope? And doesn’t any church rely on secret knowledge anyway? You may be a Christian following rituals that have been promoted and conveyed to you so you believe them without ever having been initiated into the secret teachings that any religion has. What do you really believe and whom?
Do you believe you know anything about what is happening on top levels of political power circles and do you believe you could enter those circles without ‘initiation’?
Do you think that you could take part in any discussion of high level specialized scientists about quantum physiscs or string theory? Wouldn’t you need some kind of ‘initiation’?
The impression that is upheld by the mainstream media is that we live in a democracy in which everything is transparent and everybody can participate in the discussion while the truth is that people can have any kind of opinion which has now effect on the power systems at all. There is a hollow voting ritual every four years allowing politicians to call the system democratic. But this word still means power of the people. But people have less and less power. And this is intentionally so, not accidentally.
Pythagoras was the head of a secret society and his inner circle one of initiation. People still use the exoteric interpretation of his mathematics.
In our society many similar real (all religions, Rosecrucians, Templars etc.) or as if secret societies (top economic, political or military circles) exist. And all people are coming up with is putting down some pretty harmless usually powerless individuals, rarely coherent groups dealing with angels (as do the churches), magic or occult rituals. What a drag.
The practice of controlling through keeping secrets inside inner circles is prevalent everywhere. The practice of initiating (allowing) very few people into those circles, too. If original deep inner knowledge (and meaning) are lost – as is obvious in those practices, the latter are simply about protecting exclusive power.
Could it mean that our materialistic (exo-) society is terribly scared of their inner (eso-) life? Could it mean that people blindly follow political and economic beliefsystems that were never set up in the first place to serve but to numb them? And that those people just try to blame a quite unimportant and very diverse group without any power whatsoever – all those angel, magic, occult believers – because they don’t dare to doubt those seemingly overwhelming political/economic control systems?
And one question cannot be left out: should every kind of (potentially powerful) knowledge be open to everyone who just wants to comment on it without having the courage to openmindedly experience it? In other words: are we all ready for transparency?
