Discoveries XXVIII

Every Tuesday I offer three web finds that I found interesting. I hope you get inspired by them, too. Enjoy!

This week we have four, maybe because of the coming full moon (12/09/2008):

‘Blessed Unrest’ is a movie in the making waiting for your participation. Change is everywhere, according to the trailer more than 1.000.000 million organizations on earth stand up against the continual and deliberate destruction of the few:

Or do we go beyond Terra? And would that ask more for a state of Being we have to manifest or just a technological solution that needs more time? Join the frontier discussion :

Anyway, we will have to develop our creative nature, the 10 major features of which according to longterm creativity
researcher Mihail Csikszentmihalyi are outlined here:

Markets that in traditional GNP are not accounted for are made obvious in Hazel Henderson’s Calvert-Henderson
Quality of Life Indicators. Watch ‘Ethical Markets’ here:

  1. Gonzalo Says:

As usual, your Discoveries are very inspiring. I enjoyed Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s article. Something I found important:

“Perhaps the most difficult thing for creative individuals to bear is the sense of loss and emptiness they experience when, for some reason, they cannot work”.

Which can be read backwards: when a creative individual feels loss and emptiness, it’s important to revise if they are putting enough energy in their creative projects. Or if they are putting enough creativity in their activities.
