If it would be so easy! After all, it sounds marvellous when all those self-proclaimed lawmakers
talk about laws of attraction, so-and-so many laws of success, laws of . . . instant manifestation etc. To begin with the latter: you may drink an instant coffee, if you accept that kind of taste as the taste of coffee, which already is a stretch.

The whole ‘instant’ and ‘law’ business is about making money: instantly! And in that way it works, at least for some. Nobody knows where this army of competitive ‘lawmakers’ got their seal of approval from. We might guess that the mysterious ‘market’ – right now in a little bit deranged state – does it. Anything that people buy becomes ‘law’. Interesting. Do people also break the ‘law’ if they stop buying stuff that creates illusions the galore? After they figured it out (and made some ‘wisdom’ clowns rich)?

There is no wisdom in creating products. There is wisdom in love and compassion.

When we are patient with ourselves and compassionate with our fellow brothers and sisters, many things can happen. Over time. With a lot of practice and passion. Still there is no guarantee. Although the instant lawmakers want you to believe that. There have been many wonderful creative people following their vision never seeing any financial success with their inventions or art. Or it came to them very late. But who wants to miss van Gogh’s paintings?

The freedom that cultivation provides is the complete immersion into an activity that you are made for. In the seeming constraints of a discipline you grow beyond the rules until you are free to improvise and act intuitively at any moment. And although those types of acts happen instantly, the way towards them by far transcends one’s entry fee – talent. And it took years to enter that flow. Even thereafter you have to continue cultivating your art if you don’t want to sink into a river of repetition and therefore mediocrity.

Yes, we have all kinds of talents already inside us. Even love is a talent. Creativity and compassion are talents, we came with it. Still we have to become conscious of them to be ready to live them at any instant. So far for instant manifestation.
