Discoveries 72

Every Tuesday I offer three (or so) contributions to the web that I found interesting. I hope you, too, find them inspiring. Enjoy!

This week (10/13/2009):

Did you ever see a garden growing happily on a wall vertically? Patric Blanc carefully chooses the right plants to create his magical gardens:

Anoushka Shankar is not only the daughter of famed Indian Sitar master Ravi Shankar (with whom she studied) but also a fabulous sitar player and singer herself. Watch for yourself and listen to the interplay of the trio!:

Maybe you saw Guy Laliberté (founder of ‘Cirque de Soleil’) returning from the space station and maybe you asked yourself why he did get up there and paid around $ 37 million  for it? As it happens he started the One Drop Foundation in order to raise awareness for the water issue: if we don’t care it will run out. This is a beyond global show with Guy moderating from space:
